Breaking news: the Grantham branch of NADFAS has agreed to sponsor a heritage trail within the church itself (not from the manor to the church) They will advise us and provide £50 to cover the costs. This is a valuable partnership, as it strengthens the teaching and learning aspect of our project, focussing both on Newton and the church itself. For more details about the scheme, see www.eastmidlandsnadfas.co.uk

Trinity College, Cambridge, have pledged £500 towards the cost of a new stained glass window.
While we are submitting an application for a grant of about £750,000 to the Heritage Lottery Fund, we need to raise £37,500 ourselves. Any donation toward this worthy cause would be most welcome. More detail about donation options can be found by pressing the How to Donate button at the bottom of this page
Just to report that Nick Boles and Bob Adams spent over 30 minutes in the church with us last Friday to see what we hope to achieve with the Newton Project. Both expressed genuine interest and Nick will send us a letter of support to accompany our HLF application.
